Meet our Team

André Gomes de Sousa

André is a co-founder and Executive Partner at Bedrock Capital Partners responsible for execution, asset management, licensing and development. Prior to founding Bedrock in 2019, he was Head of International Real Estate Investment at Fidelidade, and previously worked at ECS Capital, Crimson (local operating partner of the Carlyle Europe Real Estate Partners III (CEREP III)) and Aguirre Newman/Savills. André has an undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico, a Master in Real Estate Valuation and Management from ISEG and a Master in Finance from Universidade Católica Portuguesa-Lisbon.

João Tenreiro Gonçalves

João is a co-founder and Executive Partner at Bedrock Capital Partners responsible for execution, structuring, financing and asset management strategic support. Prior to founding Bedrock in 2019, he was a Director at ECS Capital where he accumulated 8 years of experience in private equity real estate. He started his career at F9 Consulting, an investment banking boutique focusing on M&A and project financing of infrastructure assets. João has an undergraduate degree in Economics from Nova School of Business and Economics in Lisbon and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management (Illinois, USA).

David Leote Arié

David is a co-founder and Partner at Bedrock Capital Partners responsible for sourcing opportunities and investors. He currently accumulates responsibilities as a board member of the Arié Group Family Office. Having previously worked at ECS Capital, Deloitte – Corporate Finance Division and Aguirre Newman/Savills, he accumulated a wide experience in the Portuguese real estate sector, having developed a unique knowledge and network in the market by acting as a broker, consultant and investor. David has an undergraduate degree in Management from ISEG and a Master in Real Estate Finance and Management from INDEG-ISCTE. David is also a real estate appraiser certified by the Portuguese CMVM.

Tânia Gomes

Tânia Gomes joined Bedrock Capital in April 2022 as execution and legal manager. Prior to joining Bedrock Capital, Tânia worked as senior associate lawyer at Garrigues law firm (real estate / planning and zoning department), as associate lawyer at DLA Piper ABBC law firm (real estate department) and as in-house lawyer at Sonae Sierra (property management/shopping centre sector), accumulating ten years of experience in the real estate sector – real estate M&A, urban and planning law, property management and related matters. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Law from Faculdade de Direito da Universidade Nova de Lisboa (Nova School of Law), a post-graduation in law and management (Nova School of Business and Economics) and a second post-graduation degree in real estate law (Universidade Católica Portuguesa). Tânia is also qualified by the Portuguese Bar Association since 2015.

Filipe Veloso

Filipe joined Bedrock Capital in January 2023 and has been working in the construction area since 1998. He has strong experience in several areas of the construction industry, having started his activity as a works director, collaborating in companies in the areas of building rehabilitation and construction of roads and infrastructures. He collaborated in the design of structures and facilities as well as in the licensing of buildings and allotments.

Sofia Antunes

Sofia Antunes who joined Bedrock Capital in April 2024 boasts a career spanning over two decades in the construction industry. Specialized in Architecture across various sectors such as office buildings, housing, hospitals and others facilities, she has honed her expertise through hands-on experience. Over her 24-year tenure, primarily at Mota-Engil for 21 years and HCI Construções for 3 years, she has excelled in site monitoring and effectively liaising between architects, clients and construction team. She graduated in architecture from Universidade Lusíada, in Lisbon.

Guilherme Mendes

Guilherme joined Bedrock Capital in May 2023 as a Junior Project Manager. He has 5 years of experience in different verticals of the construction industry, of which 2 were spent as a construction manager at Casais based out of Qatar. He holds an MSc in Civil Engineering, with a specialization in Geotechnical Engineering, from FEUP. Moreover, he is part of “Ordem dos Engenheiros”, the Portuguese Order of Engineers, and he is fluent in both Portuguese and English.

Rita Pinto da Silva

Rita joined Bedrock Capital in January 2024 as an investment associate. Prior to joining Bedrock Capital, Rita was based in London and worked as a real estate senior analyst at PSP Investments and as a real estate analyst at Blackstone, accumulating three years of experience in the real estate sector. Prior to that, she worked on the Investor Relations Team at Ardian.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in Business from Universidade Católica do Porto and a master in Finance with a major in Corporate Finance from Nova School of Business and Economics.

Ricardo Correia

Ricardo joined Bedrock Capital in April 2024 as an Associate. Prior to joining Bedrock Capital, Ricardo was an Associate at GNB Real Estate for 3 years, where he worked in the Investment Management team. He started his career at Deloitte Corporate Finance, working in the financial institutions group. He holds a Master’s degree in Finance from Nova School of Business and Economics and a Bachelor’s degree in Management from ISEG.

Adam Prydatoc

Adam joined Bedrock Capital in February 2022 as an investment analyst. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Management and a Master´s Degree in Finance from Nova School of Business and Economics in Lisbon (NovaSBE). Adam is fluent in Portuguese, English, Ukrainian and Russian.

Manuel Farinha

Manuel joined Bedrock Capital in February 2022 as an investment analyst. He holds a Master’s degree in Finance from Nova School of Business and Economics (NovaSBE), as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Management from Católica Lisbon School of Business and Economics (CLSBE), and is fluent in Portuguese and English. During his degree Manuel did a summer internship in the Administrative department of Hospital St. Louis and was a fellow at the Venture Capital and Private Equity Club.

Bernardo Mendonça

Bernardo joined Bedrock in February 2023 as an investment analyst. He will graduate from his Master’s degree in Finance from Nova School of Business and Economics (NOVA SBE) this year, having previously finished a Bachelor’s degree in Management from Católica Porto Business School (CPBS). Moreover, he speaks Portuguese, English and Spanish and has spent an exchange semester in Belgium. During his studies he was involved in initiatives such as Católica Students’ Consulting and Católica Investment Club.

Francisco Ventosa

Francisco joined Bedrock Capital in February 2024 as an investment analyst. He holds a Master’s degree in Finance from Nova School of Business and Economics (NovaSBE), as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Católica Lisbon School of Business and Economics (CLSBE). He speaks Portuguese, English and has spent an exchange semester in University of South Carolina.

Inês Barão Letras

Inês joined Bedrock Capital in November of 2022 as administrative and financial assistant. She is currently finishing her degree in Accounting and Administration at ISCAL, in which she did a semester of Erasmus in Poland, and is fluent in Portuguese and English. On a professional level, Inês has already worked at Fepi – Distribuição at the Financial Department as a financial controller, later she worked as an accounting technician at PKF and Accenture.
